While you’re all practicing social distancing, this would be a great time to make sure that you have all of your horses nominated for the upcoming race meet! You can safely nominate your horses from a remote location and no contact with anyone is necessary!
There are very few times in horse racing that you get a “do over”, but the MTA is offering the owners of a 2017 Stallion Auction Stakes eligible horse just that! A DO OVER!!! The Stallion Auction Stakes race has always had a nomination due in the 2 year-old-year for this 3 year-old-race. Starting with the 2020 MTA Stallion Auction Stakes, nominations will be taken during the 3 year-old-year! If you nominated your 2-year-old, you’ll be including on the eligibility list below. If you didn’t take advantage of that opportunity in 2019, you have another chance!
Nominations for the MTA Stallion Auction Stakes are made PAYABLE TO THE MTA and mailed to our attention at 1100 Canterbury Road, Shakopee, MN 55379
