“Mare Barrenness/Prospective Foal Insurance
Barrenness coverage incepts prior to your mare being bred and protects you in the instance the mare is unable to conceive.
Prospective Foal incepts from a minimum of 42 days in foal and reimburses you if the mare fails to produce a live foal or if the foal dies within the set time frame of the policy which can carry from 7 days to 1 year after birth.
As a note, Barrenness and Prospective Foal can be combined into one policy.”
